Two fund Separation Theorem, by the textbook states, that all investors regardless of taste, risk, preferences, and initial wealth will hold a “mix” (by mix we mean combo) of two portfolios. The mix will include a risk-free asset and an optimal portfolio of risky assets. The implications of the theorem allow us to divide an investor’s “investment” and “finance” decision problems.
