Managing your weight is not an ephemeral fad or choice. It should be a controlled and appropriate lifestyle. It is not an easy thing to do, but once we get a handle of it, well it just becomes routine. It is a question of controlling the energy balances of the calories we consume. If the number of calories metabolized is greater than consumption we experience weight loss, and the opposite applies for weight gain. Weight management covers both proper weight loss and gains (or the colloquial term “gainz”).
Healthy weight loss is having more calories expended than consumed, while still feeding the body all the proper nutrients; the opposite applies for weight gain. During weight loss, protein and complex foods are most helpful. For good weight gain, the same applies; the additional calories should consist of mainly proteins and nutrient dense carbohydrates.
