A flexor to a person is analogous as a flexor to a muscle. Just as a flexor contracts, bends, or moves a muscle by constant changing body motions, a person who is a flexor is able to change to their current environment. They understand that the future is not a rigid reality, but a living opportunity. Flexor’s look at what they have in the moment and try to leverage all their available resources. They are often very productive and creative. They respond quickly to demands and aren’t afraid of detours.
Flexors always stay positive, but they often fail to utilize the past as lessons. Flexors typically avoid responsibilities that are very systematic or structural. They respond urgently when called on and are very forward looking. However, “complete” flexors are typically people who “go with the flow” and receive direction. The “complete” flexors are often the right hand person to the ultimate leader or “muscle”. The best leaders have qualities of a flexor, as they are visionaries and very keen in changing policies and strategies. But these leaders also have a foundation of past values and they partner with “complete” flexors for creating the best forward looking strategies.
