Calculating Comprehensive Income:
Operating Income + Net Income of Acquired Company – Amortization of Differentials = Consolidated Net Income +/- Comprehensive Gains/Losses = Consolidated Comprehensive Income To calculate the comprehensive income from controlling vs. non-controlling interest, you will take the percentage of ownership and apply that to the comprehensive income of the acquired company.
