The amount reported on the consolidated statement retained earnings as “dividends paid” would include only dividends paid to majority shareholders directly.

though I am really a hard time understanding this matter, I still want to thank you for posting something about this matter. Though it may have nothing to do with me, at least there are people who will benefit from this one. It was great because the terms were too technical and yet there will be new people who will understand this matter!
