When the auditor reissues a report of the financial statements, it is important to obtain a representation letter from the successor auditor. Moreover, the date of the reissued report should be the same as the original report. 

Quick note, auditor's report should be dated no earlier than the actual date in which auditor obtained sufficient appropriate audit evidence.
