Invigorators are talented individuals who search for ways to make productive changes. And they are very energetic in their approach. They strive in resolving conflicts, and the best ones, typically use experiences to effect change. And it is their positive attitude that helps them achieve it.
Essentially, they thirst for insight and embrace the idea of being more aware. They feed off opportunities of “fixing” what needs to be broken, and they feel fulfilled when they apply new insight. And to best utilize their time, they would find a way of gearing a situation to a group’s strength, trying to avoid shortcomings. It is important to note, however, that in the attempt to make productive changes, they sometimes exert too much energy to situations that need little attention. Their drive to “perfect” everything is so innate, they sometimes fail to prioritize what is most important. And because they like to resolve conflicts, they will attempt to fix any broken rapport between people. Nevertheless, the best invigorators are able to identify root causes to problems quickly, without exhausting their resource in time. Leaders must be invigorators to establish and maintain relationships, while continuing to develop individually every day. The best leaders understand that they are limited to what they have at their disposal so they fix what needs fixing, innovate when there is demand, and allow things to grow when they are working well.
