Rational Patience

In one day, there are 86,400 seconds. Within those seconds, your neurological nerves are transmitting millions of messages to help you. And we can assure you that within those myriad of seconds, highlighted by the millions of neurological movements, and within the pathways of your internal thoughts, there are ideas that you come up with that can make a difference. But for the most part, those potential sparks of genius goes unveiled, because we sometimes (as a society) do not take the time to properly appreciate the merit and power they can have.

Solution “Rational Patience” - It Is A Simple And Elegant One:
  1. Take a few seconds (from the 86,400) to write down anything that comes to your mind.
  2. Let that note rest for the night, to where you pick it up the next morning.
  3. With a clear mind ask why did I think of this? What is the meaning? What could it lead to?
  4. If the answers are positive, then you should consider how you can leverage your expertise and resources into the growth of the idea.
  5. Every day, you add to the development, “stemming” from the initial seed of thought.
  6. Then when you feel that it has grown, share your life changing development to someone.
  7. When you have completed that, you maintain it in your portfolio, because there would always be room for growth.

Rational Patience Refers To:
  • The justified consideration of our individual ideas, and developing them persistently.
  • It is the process of writing down your thought and expanding it throughout a lifetime.
  • It is ultimately, having the presence and awareness of creating greatness by sustaining progress. Ultimately, like growing a piece a fruit, the seed or idea must be nurtured with care, then the natural fructose and quality of the idea would come to fruition.

Real Life Example:
Our favorite example is Disney. Walt Disney started with the simple idea of a mouse. A mouse was his stepping stone, but his innovation as we know, was transcendent. Therefore, in order to have developed the “kingdom” that we know of it today, he had to have planted an idea and then allow it to grow through Rational Patience.

Bottom Line: We are all susceptible of speeding through moments, especially within the instant communication and technological innovative era we are in. With all the efficiency we have produced, sometimes we fail to keep the integrity of optimizing the effectiveness of a life changing idea we all have. Through Rational Patience, we may be able to develop an idea and create greatness, through the proper controls of sustaining growth.
