Let's get straight to the major point about abs and getting them. To have them show, the rule of thumb is having 10% body fat or less. As large as they can become and as much you work them out (which is another topic for another day), you cannot expect to have visceral body fat, while still expect to be showing those abdominal muscles.
Genetically speaking, not all body fat is equal, in the sense that not all body fat is distributed equally. That is why we always say, rule of thumb, less than 10%. So, where do we start in our journey of getting abs or maintaining them? Well it starts in the kitchen, meaning your diet. And then you need the right sleeping patterns. Essentially, developing those good habits. Then after you made great lifestyle choices on your food and sleep, then it is all about getting the right exercise routine.
