Hello Great Team. The purpose of this discussion is to simply provide a one stop shop for anyone to be able to come in and get a better understanding of the fruits of our world. And even more-so, how we can incorporate it in our diet. And we will even give it a subjective grade on what we think their health benefits are.

Blackberry Fruit Grade: A+

Anatomy:
1. They are also known by its name “Rubus Fruticosus” from the genus Rubus.

2. The supply of the plant is native to many regions globally, and demand for the fruit has increased, more than doubling the planting and cultivating projections.

3.  They are known as one of the healthiest fruits in the world, with one of the highest concentrations of antioxidants, vitamins, and nutritional properties.

Potential Benefits:
1. The vitamins, fibers, and nutrients fight damaging toxins for the following functions: Cardiovascular, Cognitive, Oral, and Digestive.

2. The catechins (which are flavanols that support the functionality of the antioxidants) and the anthocyanin properties (a very powerful antioxidant), helps prevent the possibility of cancer producing cells, while promoting anti-aging and memory increasing activity.

3. The Gallic and Ellagic Acid compounds a multifunctional purpose for strengthening cell reproduction, while supporting metabolic functions.

4. Phytochemicals, quercetin, and other flavonoids promote health and body longevity.

5. To repeat, the high antioxidant concentration fights oxidation, caused from toxins within the body.

Nutritional Breakdown:
60 Calories in one cup (144 grams):
·Fat- 1 gram
·Carbs- 15 grams (7 are sugars and the remaining 8 are dietary fibers)
·Protein- 2 grams

Final Recommendations and Takeaway:
1. We believe blackberries are one or maybe the best fruit to incorporate in your diet. Relative to other fruits, they have a lower sugar content, which does not increase glucose/insulin to high levels. The dietary fiber outnumbers the sugar levels, which is a promising nutritional story.

2. We are all recommended to include a minimum of four servings of fruits to our diet. We believe that blackberries, due to its nutritional integrity, should be included as one of those servings regularly.

3. Again, over consumption of anything is not good. To help optimize your health, we strongly recommend eating fruits. But there are a lot of fruits with high sugar contents, which although are natural, can pose complications.  Therefore, if you are looking for a high concentration of benefits with low sugar levels, blackberries are your best option.
