Carbohydrates require the largest relative quantity. Training goals and energy requirements can vary the ranges, but by in large, carbohydrates require ~40-65% of total calories. And please do not forget that our bodies require large relative quantities, however, they do not contain energy. Fats can range, by in large, ~20-30%. Proteins can range from 10-20%. Note the minimum quantity of dietary protein for sedentary lifestyles will be .8 grams per kilogram, which is ~.36 per pound.
