Micronutrients is an essential nutrient that is required in quantities less than 1 gram per day. They include vitamins and minerals. Macronutrients are required in quantities larger than 1 gram. Macronutrients are your carbs, fats, proteins, and the often forgotten, water. And it is the muscle that will store the greatest quantity of water. Simple sugars are the most over-consumed energy nutrient in the Western society, and this one should be limited.
