Psychological or Mental wellness is closely related to mood, personality, and cognition, and is closely related to high quality of life. Contrarily, depression, anxiety disorders, and low perception of self-worth decreases mental health. Studies of physical activity and exercise have suggested that the mental state of a person improves. It biologically stimulates dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, and endorphins, which are signals and chemical components of “more happy feelings”, less stress, and greater focus. Exercise further helps social skills, as physical activity is usually done with interaction, competition, and support from the experiences of individuals.
