So, let us say you “slayed” your workout, and you are on a high of endorphins, while also being tremendously sore. The worst mistake you can do at that point, is not feed your body properly and suppress the anabolic potential. At that point, your body is expecting nutrients and food, high in amino acids and carbohydrates, to replenish all that it has used. Take advantage of your body’s ability to help digest these nutrients quickly (the window right after your workout). It does not need to be an hour within the workout, although it will be best to do so. But also, don't go half the day without feeding it either.
