Living a healthy lifestyle means to make positive choices and behaviors that affect your general wellness. Wellness refers to the comprehensive health of your physical, mental, intellectual, environmental, social, and emotional state. Ways to ensure a healthy lifestyle is through avoiding stress, eating nutrition dense foods, and engage in routine physical activity. Physical activity is the unstructured movement of everyday life, where exercise is the structured repetitive body movements that requires larger oxygen demand and results in larger energy expenditure.
So technically, exercise is physical activity, where as physical activity may not necessary be exercise. But at the end of the day, what we should take out of the post is that in order to live a healthy lifestyle, we must be active, rest, and eat well. And to be active, we must do it properly, know on the components that we are working on, and how to work out the right way and avoid injuries.
