This is just a friendly reminder that egg yolks are in fact, with moderation, a powerhouse of a food. So, often we see people just to opt out of the yolk all together, and go straight for the egg whites. Journals (such as the Journal of Clinical Nutrition) tells us that egg yolks are more efficient in producing muscles after a workout. The jargon used in studies are that yolks are greater in post-exercise responses. A lot of yolk does have risk in increasing your cholesterol, but don’t fall into the myth that all of it is “bad”. It is a powerhouse for building muscle.
