The time-frame perspective talks about keeping things into reality check. For instance, we have heard "I want to lose 40 pounds in one month".
Well, it is not impossible. And for some cases depending on starting weight, we have seen it. But also, if we are looking at the normal distribution curve, the majority of the times, to lose 40 pounds in one month is UNREALISTIC. Time-frame perspective is meant to remind us of what are realistic goals. And one level deeper, when we could achieve this. Sustainable positive changes take time. And habits last a lifetime.
